we embrace (mostly) all of the characters you may want to bring. this is a judgment free zone that encourages ic drama, messiness and not taking things personally ooc or even clearing out just because a romantic storyline ended/didn't take off. when we say mostly that means we do have limits - obviously predators, racists and homophobes would be frowned upon. please use common sense when discussing triggering issues with warnings and cuts on narratives. otherwise bring us any character you'd love to write. you can be creative with their backgrounds and occupations and/or messy with their personalities. if that's not your jam you can bring someone laid back and sweet because that's what you like to write. the point is that you can develop your character while everyone else develops theirs. most communities say this but we'll say it again - stay in your own lane. any line blurring, ooc bullying or shit talking means you'll get removed.

tldr
if you tend to nitpick or be judgemental about the way others decide to write their characters please move along to another community, this isn't for you.
setting up
setting up is really easy. your character journals can be ooc or ic. you need to have an ic and ooc post up with your ooc post listing basic information about your character. we do not require a blurb or anything like that to join however we'd like to see one within a week or two of being added. please remember to backdate your two posts. please come in with a journal that has a clean friends list.

monthly activity
you will be expected to post two times a month. have no fear! your posts can be whatever you want. you can post narratives (very encouraged), instagram posts, moodboards, ffas/any activities, whatever you want. [new rule beginning feb 1 2023] all non interactive posts require at least 200 words of original writing. when joining you will be expected to intro and your intro is due 48 hours within being added. your intro is also expected to be dropped off in the activity post. your intro counts as 1/2 of your required monthly posts. if you're added after the 15th of the month you're not expected to post again however it is heavily encouraged. please note we won't accept more than one form of activity posted within the last 3 days of the month.

offsite apps
are banned. this means wire, discord and other messaging apps. focus on the friends page and customs! being caught using these apps will result in a removal and ban.

removals
you are subject to being removed if you do not fulfill your activity requirements per month. you can also be removed if your flist is out of date 10+ days or if you do not comment mid-month activity checks. make sure you're commenting around and being as active as possible on the friends page. please note that if you've been removed more than 2 times, for any reason, acceptance is not guaranteed.

rejection
like every other community we reserve the right to reject anyone that we feel do not make a good fit for our community. we also reserve the right to reject any character that has been inactive in the game and removed, or has been added and removed too many times. we do not answer inquiries about rejections. please make sure you have both your ic/ooc posts up and visible to us. importantly we ask that you also take a look at the suggested resources in the application post. please have self awareness. thank you!
